Review the sellotape, maps, phone, GPS tracking system, compass, bug spray, sun protection, and other tools and ensure you have a backup system in place.
  2. Inform someone where you’re going and when you’ll be back. You should inform your parents or guardians, a neighbor, a friend, or a partner, and share your itinerary with them.
