The Cherries shouldn’t be worried about relegation as they sit in mid-table.

Adama Traore  – 35.5 Km/h

There’s hardly a fastest Premier League player’s list that doesn’t feature the Spanish international. Traore has been one of the speediest players for several seasons now and continues to feature. He’s only played 10 games and scored a goal this season contrary to the amount of game time he received at Wolves. It was against Arsenal that he reached 35.5 Km/h and this little game time perhaps explains why he’s not ranking higher.

Kyle Walker – 35.32 Km/h

The Englishman is still one of the fastest defenders and players in the Premier League. He provides Pep Guardiola’s side with flexibility on the right as he provides defensive and offensive output. His speed of 35.32 Km/h came against Bournemouth and is one of the 26 games he’s played.

Carlos Baleba – 34.16 Km/h

Carlos Baleba clocked 34.16 Km/h during Brighton’s game against Liverpool. This is the Cameroonian’s first season in the league, after his transfer from French side Lille. The midfielder has made 17 appearances but is yet to score his first goal in the league.

Tyrick Mitchell – 34.10 Km/h

Tyrick Mitchell has been a Crystal Palace player since 2020. He’s been receiving consistent game time and this season, he’s already played 28 games. The interesting thing about him is that as a defensive player, he clocked one of the fastest Premier League speeds at 34.10 Km/h.

At the same time, this might not be a surprise as modern football requires defenders to also contribute to a team’s attacking play so will be running up and down the field.

These are the 10 fastest Premier League players this season. They expend a lot of energy in every game to help their teams and in a league that values speed and quality, they’ve become some of the most outstanding players.
