  1. Criss-cross the laces in an X fashion.
  2. Pull the laces to make sure they stay tight.
  3. Put the left lace over the right (depends on whether you’re left or right-handed).
  4. Fold the laces for both sides into two, pass the left over the right and pull it.
  5. To ensure the laces won’t come undone, pass the left over the right once more and tighten.
