How to Use Chia Seeds For Weight Loss?

It’s very easy to add chia seeds to your diet. Here are the different ways you can use chia seeds for weight loss:

  • Use in foods and drinks. You can sprinkle them on salads, blend them into drinks, and mix them into homemade curds.
  • Use in Soups: They can even serve as soup thickeners.
  • Drink in Water: Just soak half a tablespoon full of chia seeds in a cup of water for about 15-20 minutes. Ensure to stir the water regularly to make sure that the seeds aren’t floating on top of the water.

Whichever method you choose, just ensure that they’re well-soaked and have formed a gel-like outer surface. That’ll offer unique benefits. The good thing about chia seeds is that there are no strict rules on how to use them.

You can eat them for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. This means that you can add the seeds to your meal any time you want to. Check out these books on Amazon for more details on how to use Chia seeds for weight loss.

Chia Seeds Benefits

According to Dr. Hansaji, chia seeds are tiny seeds that contain nutrients for your body. These seeds can soak up liquids. Below are how chia seeds can help in achieving and maintaining a healthy lifestyle:

High in Soluble Fiber

These seeds’ impressive soluble fiber content is among the reasons they help in weight management. Their soluble fiber form is a gel-like substance when mixed with water. It slows down digestion and absorption of nutrients. This leads to reduced hunger and calorie intake, then improves regulation of your blood level.

Feeling Full and Eating Less

When chia seeds turn into a gel in your stomach, it makes you feel as though you have eaten enough food. The satisfactory feeling is just like the one you get after a meal. This feeling usually cuts down on the need for extra food, which reduces calorie intake.

It Contains Omega-Three Fatty Acids

It’ll interest you to know that chia seeds are rich in alpha-linolenic acid, a plant-based omega-three fatty acid. Alpha linoleic acids don’t directly burn fat. However, they can aid inflammation, causing your body to function better and your metabolism smoother.
