Maintain Dreadlocks in 3 Easy Steps

Here’s how to maintain dreadlocks, but the order of the steps isn’t strict.

  1. Have some oil spray like Olive, and spray every morning to keep your locs moisturized
  2. Retwist your dreadlocks with a loc gel. Take each loc at a time and retwist every two weeks or monthly.
  3. Avoid overwashing your locs, especially if you sweat a lot. Every 2-3 weeks can be ideal

  1. Be patient with your dreadlocks. Their growth may be slow but they’ll be long with time
  2. Avoid too much oil to avoid greasiness
