It’s the ideal place for black girls to end their week in style on a Friday nights through Saturday nights. It is a popular spot for locals and visitors and is known for its friendly atmosphere and welcoming staff.

In the heart of Downtown Huston, Local Seat is a night club that offers a friendly and comfortable hangout. You can enjoy Huston’s best-flavored Hookahs while dancing away to frenzy beats or watching the movie or show of your choice. You can even BYOB with only a meager corkage fee of $5!

They turn up the music at 5 pm daily. And if you’re wondering what to wear, silky LBDs, a jumpsuit, or a simple v-neck top with a pair of bum-complimenting leather pants would do.

BFE Rock Club

This nightclub is well known for its Rock n’ Roll and varied live music offerings, which include blues, jazz, hip hop and more. As a result, it draws music lovers from all over North Huston. They also feature a full bar with top-notch wait service, a dance area, and a large patio, which is great if you love the outdoors. 

However, be mindful that smoking is permitted here. For this and other reasons, you must be above 21 years and have a valid ID to enter the club.  Regardless, you’d have a fantastic night out with the live bands. They’re open from 6 p.m. to 2 a.m. on Fridays and Saturdays and are usually closed on Sundays unless there’s a special event, so check their website for events before you go.

Grooves of Huston

Grooves of Huston is a premier nightclub that provides guests with an upscale nightlife experience. They feature live entertainment,  happy hour Fridays from 4 pm – 2am, and live entertainment with DJs, live bands, and more where you can enjoy the trendiest beats that’ll keep your feet on the dance floor all night long.

Chicago Bar and Grill

Be mindful that his nightclub is on the pricey side. However, you’ll feel like a celebrity with their VIP sections and bottle service.

If you’re ever up late looking for an after-hours nightclub in Houston that truly appreciates African music and where you can dance your heart out, look no further than Cloud 9 No Stress. They open from midnight till dawn!

Cloud 9 fulfills the need to dance to some great, up-to-date afrobeat, soukous, makossa, and other types of African music mixes.
