They give you the option to create your own cheesesteak and offer speciality sandwiches like The Johnny Boy, parkside salmon cheesesteak among others. Sides like fries and cheese fries and beverages like bottled soda and bottled tea are available.

The Pit BBQ Grill is the brainchild of Ohio State University alumni Bryant Browning, Chimdi Chekwa, D’Andre Martin, and Mike Johnson. That said, Bryant and Chimidi are no longer part of the business as they left to focus on their interests.

They did a great job. Honestly, the video they’ve set up on their website should make you visit. The food looks yummy! The Pit BBQ Grill, located in Bubbly Food Hall in New Albany, 6065 Central College Rd, has a dynamic menu.

Their signature dishes are the PIT fries made of fresh-cut fries topped with your choice of pulled pork, pulled chicken or brisket, cheddar cheese, and PIT Sauce.

The other is the PIT Bowl which is made of meat on a toasted brioche bun with our award-winning Mildred’s Mac and Cheese, PIT Slaw and PIT Sauce. Additionally, they have different types of sandwiches.

10. J’s Sweet Treats And Wedding Cakes

Juana M Williams is the founder of the restaurant. She has no training in culinary but her love for baking sweet treats for friends and family resulted in one of the top black-owned restaurants in Columbus Ohio. 

The baking menu is dynamic and suits any occasion you can think of. The bakery opens from Monday to Saturday so be sure to check it out for some sweet treats.
