Steph Curry is in his 14th season in the NBA, while LeBron James is in his 20th. Curry was drafted into the league in 2009 by the Golden State Warriors and has played for them ever since. 

On the other hand, LeBron James joined the NBA in 2003 after he was drafted as a first pick in the first round by the Cleveland Cavaliers. He’s played for two other teams – the Miami Heat and the Los Angeles Lakers.

Throughout the years, both players have been influential in their teams’ success.

Both players have gone into the history books for their outstanding performance. Curry is known for his 3 point shots and has proven his ability by scoring from any distance on the court. 

He’s scored the highest number of three-pointers in the league’s history with 3,390. He surpassed Ray Allen’s 2,973 three-pointers in 2021. Curry also holds the record for the most number of three-pointers in a regular season, 402

Overall, Curry has 21,712 points in the league. Other records he has include:

  • The only player to have won the MVP award unanimously. 

LeBron James has his own records. He is the all-time points scorer in the league with 38,652. He surpassed Kareem Abdul Jabbar, who held the record for 38 years. 

Additionally, he’s now fourth in the all-time assist list behind Chris Paul, Jason Kidd, and John Stockton.

LeBron has scored 40 points against all 30 NBA teams and is the only player to achieve this feat. He’s also the only player to score 100 30-point games with three teams. 

Keeping up with his records, he’s the only player to reach 30,000 points, 10,000 rebounds, and 9,000 assists.
