Branded Survey

Branded Surveys has a 4.2 out of 5-star rating with Trustpilot with 77,559 user reviews. The brand’s parent company, Brand Research, has been performing market research since 2012.

When you create an account with Branded Surveys as a new user, you will receive 50 points. Then another 50 points will be credited into your account immediately after filling your profile, making it a $1 welcome bonus offer.

Once your account is fully set up, you can start taking surveys and accumulating points. You can withdraw your winnings when you accumulate up to 1,000 points. In Branded Surveys, 1,000 points are equivalent to $10.

Besides taking surveys, additional ways to earn Branded Surveys points as an African American include:

  • Taking the daily poll.
  • Inviting friends to join the platform.
  • Being a lucky 1000 points winner.
  • Ranking on the leaderboard.

InboxDollars

InboxDollars launched in 2006 and was bought by Prodege, LLC in 2019. The survey platform holds an A+ rating with Better Business Bureau (BBB). According to a report on its website, the brand has paid over $80 million to its users.

Unlike Branded Surveys, in InboxDollars, you accumulate cash instead of points. This makes it easy to figure out the amount you’ll earn before starting a task. The only drawback with InboxDollars is that most paid surveys offer a small amount of cash. But the more tasks you complete, the more cash you’ll make.

It’s free to create an account and join InboxDollars, and you will receive a $5 welcome bonus offer once you activate your account. After which, you’ll be required to fill out personal details, including your education, race, income, and other demographic information.

Besides taking surveys, there are other ways you can make money with InboxDollars, including:

  • Playing of games
  • Watching video ads
  • Shopping online at stores like eBay, Walmart, and Target.

Swagbucks

Swagbucks is another great survey platform for African Americans. The platform is owned and operated by Prodege, LLC.

Swagbucks is one of the most popular survey sites in the world, and it holds a 4.4 user rating on Apple Store with 91,759 reviews and a 4.3 rating on Google Play Store with extra ‎122,886 reviews

The survey platform pays between 1 and 360 Swagbucks (also known as SBs) for every completed survey. The amount you’ll receive will depend on the task topic and popularity.

For every 100 SBs, you will receive an extra $1 that you can redeem for PayPal cash or Gift Cards to places like Target, Amazon, and Lowe’s. As a new member, you will get a $10 welcome bonus. And this is after at least $25 at any of the platform’s featured retailers, including Best Buy, Amazon, and Walmart.

Completing surveys is one of many ways for African Americans to earn cash with Swagbucks. The survey brand gives its users SBs to shop online, watch videos, and search the web. You can redeem your earnings once you accumulate up to 160 points.

Ipsos i-Say

Based in Paris. Ipsos i-Say allows African Americans to get paid to take surveys. The platform has an A+ rating with the Better Business Bureau (BBB) and a 3.1-star rating on Google Play with over 3,789 votes.

Ipsos i-Say allows you to create an account using your Facebook or email address. After creating an account, you must answer a few demographic questions.

Your answer to the questions will help the company to link you to relevant opportunities. For instance, if you’re a new mom, you may see a survey asking which baby food you give your child.

You’ll receive points after completing a survey. The amount you earn will vary from survey to survey. But it falls between 40 and 90 points or $0.40 and $0.90 for a survey.

You’ll be able to cash out your earnings for gift cards, PayPal cash, or charity when you accumulate up to 500 points. The good thing about this survey platform is that you even earn up to five points if you get disqualified from taking a survey.

Outside taking surveys, you can also get paid to test new products as a member of the Pinecone Research platform. The platform will pay between $3 and $5 to complete a short report on each product. You might even be allowed to keep the product after completing the study.

Participating in money-making online surveys presents an excellent opportunity for black individuals to earn additional income, express their opinions, and contribute to the world of market research. By leveraging these platforms, African Americans can tap into various survey opportunities that reflect their diverse perspectives and experiences.

However, you must remember that taking surveys requires continuous work and effort. Thus,  it’s not a passive income where you do the work upfront and continue earning from it.
