Across Africa and the world, cassava has several uses. It has always been a source of food and livelihood for millions across the African continent.

For example, around 90% of Nigerian families consume cassava products daily. Commercial caramel, wheat flour, garri, and animal feed are a few of the common products made out of cassava.

As the world’s population grows, the demand for cassava products will continue to increase. This high demand will make cassava farmers make more money. With that in mind, you should consider cassava farming when investing in agriculture.
