Vida Blue single handedly won the World Series for the Oakland Athletics thrice, between 1972 and 1974. In 1971, he was named the starting pitcher in the All-Star Game, league opener and playoff opener, a rare feat for a black baseball pitcher. In that season, he was named the American League CY Young Award winner. After his success in Oakland, he also played for the San Francisco Giants and Kansas City Royals.

These are the best baseball pitchers of all time. They were always on top of their game, even when their teams never won the league. Consistency was key to their performance and they have individual and team accolades to show for it all.
