During Easter weekend, you can see beautiful flowers at Wildseed Farms, the nation’s largest working wildflower farm. Fredericksburg, a city in central Texas, is known for its lifelong German tradition that began with the town’s founding in 1846.

You’ll notice that everyone in the town dresses up for the Easter pageant the night before Easter, and at some point in the night, the lights are turned off.

As a visitor, you can then take in the strange and entertaining spectacle of the Fredericksburg Easter Fires while enjoying some of the incredible food and drink on offer at the festival that evening.

An Easter weekend with your family in Flagstaff, Arizona, means spending it in one of the most picturesque regions of the country, surrounded by craggy mountains, a scorching desert, and thick stands of ponderosa pine trees. When you take a hike on or around Humphreys Peak as a visitor, you’ll be rewarded with breathtaking views, as will the slopes at Arizona Snowbowl Ski Resort.

Savannah

For an Easter weekend getaway, Savannah makes a lovely and charming destination. In the spring, pink flowers that bloom completely take over the gardens. The atmosphere in Savannah, which includes the city’s parks and streets, farmers’ markets in Forsyth Park, and an annual music festival, draws more than a hundred artists from all over the place.

If you’re looking for an Easter Sunday brunch to remember, you can board a Savannah Riverboat Cruise for a 1.5-hour tour of the city from the water, complete with all the delectable breakfast and lunch options you’d expect. You can also take a picture with the Easter Bunny.

Since 1956, the Florida city of St. Augustine has hosted an annual Easter parade known as the Parada de los Caballos y Coches, or Parade of Horses and Coaches. This amazing Easter Sunday tradition features drill teams, classic cars, marching bands, elaborate floats, and carriage horses dressed in Easter finery.

It’s a fun chance for groups of friends and family to take in the show before going to one of the many St. Augustine restaurants that serve Easter brunch. Prior to your visit, it’s advised to make a reservation.

Woodstock

The fun in Woodstock, Vermont, during Easter is just getting started with local festivals and bake sales. The sunrise service on Easter morning is traditionally held on Mount Tom’s summit. The congregation meets at the church at six in the morning, then hikes to the top of the mountain for the service, which is held with a breathtaking view of the region.

Traditionally, everyone brings food from home and gathers for a casual community breakfast after the service, sharing the food with everyone. The rest of the day is spent with Easter egg hunts for children to find holiday treats in various locations around the town.

Big Sur

Some of the most dramatic coastal scenery in America, and possibly the entire world, can be found in California’s Big Sur. It successfully balances tourism and wilderness, leaving its natural beauty unspoiled by car parks, busy roads, services, or other annoyances that people seem to think are necessary to make their lives bearable.

The Carmel-San Simeon Highway, a classic two-lane road that has barely changed since the 1950s, is where you’ll find small, local businesses tucked away in quiet locations. In fact, more than 60% of the entire region is prohibited from any kind of development, leaving you with breathtaking views, unspoiled forests, deserted beaches, and an all-around wonderful way to explore a part of the US that seems to have been frozen in time.

In Summary

You can choose from a wide range of Easter weekend getaway locations in the United States. There are many options available, whether you’re looking for a busy city experience, a restful beach getaway, or a quiet country retreat.

You can easily plan an Easter weekend getaway that will help you and your loved ones make lifelong memories by taking your interests and financial situation into consideration. No matter where you choose to spend your time, the most important thing is to get into the holiday spirit.

Enjoy the time you spend with your family and loved ones.
