Tips for Preparing Macaroni Pie

  • You can use elbow macaroni if you don’t have tubed macaroni
  • Add a tablespoon of olive oil to the boiling macaroni to prevent them from sticking to one another.
  • You can mix the cheese, onion, black pepper, onion, mustard, and egg while the macaroni boils. Then pour the mixture on the tender macaroni and mix.
  • Some people also choose to mix the rest of the ingredients with the cooked macaroni directly and then bake.
  • Sprinkle bread crumbs and cheese on top of the macaroni pie before putting it into the oven.
  • Add chopped scotch bonnet pepper for a spicy feel
  • Also, add stewed chicken to the Caribbean macaroni pie before baking for a crunchy feel
