8 Easy Steps to Tie a Durag

1. Place the durag on your head and ensure that the stitching is on the outside.

2. Make sure the stitching is at the center of your head and properly covers your hairline.

3. Once the durag sits flat on your head, pull the strings behind your ears.

4. Cross the strings over each other behind your head and ensure they remain flat.

5. Bring the strings to the front of your head by passing them over your ears. 

6. Cross the strings over your forehead, one after the other, taking them behind your ears.

7. With both strings behind, gently tie the durag.

8. Pull the back of your durag and the front a little bit.
