Move to Juventus
In 2012, the French midfielder moved to Italian club Juventus. He blossomed at the club and this is where he fully established himself as one of the world’s best midfielders.
Additionally, he got the chance to play alongside his idol, Andrea Pirlo. He won numerous Serie A titles, Super Coppa Italiana and Coppa Italia and played in the final of the UEFA Champions League in 2015. After over 100 appearances and 28 goals, Pogba rejoined Manchester United and signed at a world-record fee of $110 million.
His move back to Manchester was widely celebrated. Many fans thought he was the type of player the team needed in midfield, plus he was more mature now.
However, Pogba was criticized for inconsistent performances and not being professional enough. His feud with former Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho also worsened his perception among fans.
The only title he won with United was the Europa League and the EFL Cup. In July 2022, the midfielder rejoined Juventus on a four-year contract.
