Live gifting is among the most important TikTok features for users who want to make money on the platform through livestreaming. What makes the TikTok streaming feature stand out is its ability to allow other users to support you in real-time by sending you virtual gifts, which can be redeemed for money.

To go live and receive gifts from viewers, you must be at least 18 years old and have 1,000 or more followers. The amount you’ll make from TikTok Live depends on the number of streamers and gifters available.

Sell Products Directly Through TikTok

With the TikTok shop, you can integrate ecommerce directly into the mobile app. It’s more like your own digital front store.  You can also partner with brands to help them sell their products or promote their services on your channel.

Additionally, you can display and sell your product via videos, the product showcase tab, and TikTok Live. To sell products directly through TikTok, your account must be free of any policy violations. Plus, you must have over 1,000 followers, more than 50 video views in the last 28 days, and uploaded a video to your TikTok account in the past 28 days.

Make Money Through Affiliate Programs

You don’t need to create your product or own a service to sell something to your TikTok audience. You can simply promote other people’s products and services and earn a commission when your followers buy using affiliate links or referral codes.

For example, you can register on Amazon as an Affiliate, look for products that’ll help make your audience life better, and promote them. When your followers click and buy, you’ll receive a percentage of the sales made through that affiliate link.
