In 2021, Andre Iguodala returned to the Golden State Warriors for a second stint. He was sidelined for 31 games due to soreness. Nonetheless, he won his fourth and last Championship in 2022 after the team beat the Boston Celtics.

It wasn’t clear whether the center forward would return, but as the 2022 season drew closer, he announced he’d play for one last year. In 2022, his contract guaranteed him $2.9 million. Iguodala suffered a wrist fracture, which limited him to nine games, the least of his career.

When a team like GSW comes calling, you listen. That’s what Iguadala did in 2013. He refused Denver Nugget’s five-year contract offer in favor of GSW. He won his first three championship rings with the team (2015, 2017 & 2018).

In his first final, the power forward was named the Most Valuable Player (MVP). He played 63 games and became one of its most influential players. When he won his second championship ring, he started the season on a high, scoring 12 points and five assists and rebounds each.

During the championship playoff, he noted 20 points and defended LeBron James to help his team win over Cleveland again. 2017 was supposed to be his final season,, but he chose with the Warriors and won his third championship.

Denver Nuggets (2012 to 2013)

The small forward joined the Nuggets after he was traded by the Philadelphia 76ers. His stay was brief, as he only played for one year. He produced his best performance and averaged 18 points. He also made 8 rebounds, and 5.3 assists per game.

His presence convinced some that the team was a championship contender. The Nuggets reached the playoffs but were eliminated by the Golden State Warriors.

Philadelphia 76ers (2004 to 2012)

This was Andre Iguodala’s first team. He was drafted in 2004 as a first-round, ninth-pick by the 76ers. He arrived from Arizona College, and some doubted his capabilities. In his first regular season, he played all 82 games plus five playoff games.

He quickly established himself in the team and his second season, was named to the NBA All-Rookie First Team. Although he didn’t win the championship with the Nuggets, Iguodala did enough to earn the respect of his doubters and swayed teams to his side.

Those are Andre Iguodala’s teams. In total, Andre Iguodala played 1231 games, averaging 11.3 points and 4.2 assists per game. He moved at the right time and capitalized on the chances he got. He played for the best teams and with the players, and as he told AndScape about his retirement, “It was just the right time.”
