Before you start, make sure you have the following:

  • Flexi rods (if you’re using this method)
  • Hair Comb
  • Hair styling foams

11 Steps to Curling Natural Hair Without Heat

1. Part your hair into four sections.

2. Detangle your hair with a hair detangler. 

3. Apply the detangler on each section, one at a time.

4. Use a wide tooth comb to detangle the hair fully.

5. Once done, part the section again into two.

6. Use a setting foam and apply it generously on the parted section.

7. With the use of flexi rods, curl the section around it to your ends.

8. Follow the steps above to the other sections of your hair.

9. Leave the flexi rods on overnight or for a few hours.

10. Gentle remove the flexi rods.

11. Separate the hair to give you volume.
