Sibusiso is one of the richest footballers in South Africa. He currently plays for TS Galaxy in the Premier Soccer League (PSL). At TS Galaxy, he reportedly earns $19,000 monthly. He started his senior career at Bidvest Wits, where he played 177 games and scored 32 goals. At sundowns, he played 87 games in four years (2016 to 2022).

Moeneeb played his club football for some of the richest clubs in South Africa; Orlando Pirates, Bidvest Wits and Amazulu. His goalkeeping skills were praised and he even represented the national team between 2003 and 2014. His total appearances in the South African league stand at 408. 

8. Oupa Manyisa – $432,000

Manyisa plays his club football in the Motsepe Foundation Championship side La Masia. He joined the outfit in 2023 from Platinum City Rovers. He previously played for Mamelodi Sundowns, Orlando Pirates and TTM. At Sundowns, he reportedly earned $14,000 per month. This has contributed to his net worth of $432,000 and makes him one of the richest footballers in South Africa.

7. Elias Gasper Pelembe – $540,000

Gaspar is a Mozambiquan soccer player and one of South Africa’s richest. He currently represents UD Songo in his home country. He previously played for Royal AM, Bidvest, Polokwane, Mamelodi Sundowns, Supersport United and Desportivo Maputo. He’s said to have earned $17,000 at Bidvest.

6. Khama Billiat – $650,000

The Zimbabwean soccer star is one of the wealthiest footballers in South Africa. He cashes in a huge amount and is one of the highest-paid players in the league. Billiat’s monthly salary is $46,0000. Previously, he’s played for Mamelodi Sundowns, AJAX Cape Town and CAPS United.

5. Anthony Laffor – $747,000

Anthony Laffor played for a number of clubs in the South African league, like Mamelodi Sundowns, Chippa United and Jomo Cosmos. His salary at Mamelodi Sundowns is said to be $21,000. The Liberian footballer has 46 caps for his country. 

4. Siphiwe Tshabalala – $747,000

Tshabalala might not have a club now but maintains that he is still active. That said, he made good money during his playing days at Kaizer Chiefs, BB Erzurumspor, Free State Stars and AmaZulu. Tshabalala also represented South Africa and was part of the 2010 world cup team.

3. Teko Modise – $767,000

Modise‘s father introduced him to football at a young age. He started his senior career at Ria Stars and moved to City Pillars from 2002 to 2006. In 2006, Modise joined SuperSport United, played for a season until 2007 and signed for Orlando Pirates. 

From there, he went to Mamelodi Sundowns and finished off his career at Cape Town City. As of 2023, his estimated net worth is R14.2 million or $767,000, which makes him one of the richest footballers in South Africa.  

2. Itumeleng Khune – $920,000

Khune is one of the best goalkeepers South Africa’s had. He’s a true definition of a one-man club, as he’s only played for Kaizer Chiefs. This is also where he started his career. Kaizer has rewarded him with a good paycheque for his loyalty and long-term service. Every month, he earns $26,000. This has significantly contributed to his enormous net worth.

Bernard Parker is the richest footballer in South Africa. After playing for Kaizer Chiefs for over a decade, he moved to TS Galaxy. His salary at Chiefs was estimated to be $162,000 per month, which explains his substantial net worth.
