Didier Drogba
No list of the best African strikers is complete without Didier Drogba. The Ivorian booked his place on this list during his stellar career at Chelsea. He joined the Blues in 2004 from French club Marseille and spent eight years there.
He scored more than 100 goals and won numerous accolades. Some of them include:

- UEFA Champions League
- Turkish Super Cup
Individually, Drogba won some of the most high-profile awards such as:

George Weah remains to be the only African player to have won the prestigious Balon d’Or. He accomplished this feat in 1995. In Europe, he played for Chelsea on loan, Manchester City, Paris Saint Germain, and Marseille, among others. George Weah won plenty of trophies like:

Nwankwo Kanu
The Nigerian played for Arsenal, West Bromwich Albion, Ajax, Inter Milan, and Portsmouth, among other clubs. Kanu was known for his dribbling and technical abilities that made it hard for defenders to mark him. He won the UEFA Champions League, UEFA Super Cup, and the FA Cup.
With Nigeria, the striker lifted the FIFA U-17 World Cup in 1993 and the Olympic gold medal in 1996.

Roger Milla
Roger Milla is famously remembered for his dance celebration. The player’s star shown brightest when he represented Cameroon at the Italian World Cup in 1990. He scored four goals and helped his team qualify for the quarter-finals. In 1994, Roger became the oldest player to score in a World Cup. Some of the awards he won include:
