As that suggests, Rue Dix serves Senegalese and French food, including Senegalese spring rolls, Ataya and Dibi Senegal. The cafe opens from Monday to Friday between 11 am to 11 pm, Saturday between 10 am and 1 am, and Sunday between 10 am and 9 pm. It was owned by Nilea Alexander and Lamine Diagne.

Ras Plant-Based
The owners of Ras Plant Based, Romeo and Milka Regalli, opened the restaurant to reimagine Ethiopia’s culinary dishes. They promise to serve fire-kissed spices, smoky-sweet berbere, vibrant herbs, and dishes that push boundaries. Ras serves plant-based food and focuses on the experience. The restaurant opens on Monday to Thursday between 12 pm to 10 pm, Friday between 12 pm and 11 pm, Saturday between 11 am and 11 pm, and Sunday between 11 am and 10 pm.
Peppa’s Jerk Chicken
Peppa’s Jerk Chicken adds to the list of black-owned restaurants in Brooklyn. It serves authentic Jamaican cuisine in a friendly atmosphere, which is one of its missions – to give an exceptional customer experience to its guests. It opens every day, from Monday and Wednesday between 11 am and 11 pm, Tuesday between 11 am and 11 pm, Thursday between 11 am and 12 am, and Friday and Saturday between 11 am and 12:30 am, and Sunday between 11 am and 11 pm.

&Sons and Bars
André Hueston Mack is the owner of &Sons and Bars. It is a 20-seat neighborhood ham bar in Prospect Lefferts Gardens, Brooklyn. The restaurant runs from Monday to Sunday between 5-11 pm but closes on Tuesdays.

The Dept. of Culture was born out of the Iya Eba popup dinner series hosted by Ayo Balogun. With the agreement that we have common viewpoints than differences, the restaurant began to give room for conversation with a menu inspired by North-Central Nigerian cooking. The restaurant runs from Wednesday and Saturday.
