Instructions
- In a pitcher, pour the mango, pineapple, and lime juice and then stir properly.
- If it’s well-balanced and tastes nice, add rum, including all the different types you are using.
- Stir the mixture well and taste. At this point, it will have a pleasantly sour flavor.
- Slowly pour in the grenadine from the side of the glass to allow it to settle at the bottom and give it the ombre effect.
- Serve the drink with your choice of garnish.
Notes
- There are many varieties of rum and you might be at pains to figure out which one to pick for this recipe. Some of the recommended brands include Appleton, Wray & Nephew. Alternatively, go for coconut rum.
- As for orange juice, you can use regular orange juice, but you can also make fresh orange juice at home. When it comes to the lime juice, opt for freshly squeezed lime as it will offer a different taste to the boiled lime.
- Garnish your drink with freshly sliced pieces of orange, pineapple, lime, or cherry to add detail to your drink.
