In the evening when breaking the Ramadan fasting, referred to as Iftar, go for nutrients-filled meals, including proteins, vegetables and healthy fats. That said, you want to start by taking fluids, water or coconut milk, to restore the lost fluids, and then go for light meals like soup to prepare your stomach for the main dish. For the main course, consider proteins like fish, chicken and fibre rich foods.
