How to Pack for a Trip Like a Pro
- Choose an appropriate suitcase or bag.
- Lay everything you want to pack on the bed or a surface. Sort out what you don’t need.
- Fold your socks inside your shoes to save on space.
- Fold your pants in thirds and lay it on your flat surface on your suitcase. For those with a three-piece suit, role it twice and roll it. For the jacket, fit one side of the shoulder into the other, insert the waistcoat and fold it over. Put it on top of the pants.
- Use the additional space to put in your ties or other accessories.
- Neatly fold your shits and place them about the suits on your suitcase.
- The remaining side of the suitcase will carry the rest of your clothes – socks, sweaters, t-shirts, undershirts, and shoes, depending on how much you’re carrying.
Remember, there’s no one way of packing, so this is a general guide. Divide your suitcase in sections and place the necessary items in it. Depending on how long your trip is, you might have more or fewer goods.
