After wearing your hair for a while, some of the frontal part may become bushy and make your hairstyle seem unattended. How to Lay Your Edges for a Beginner

  1. These are the equipments you’ll need: an edge brush or an old toothbrush and a styling gel.
  2. Separate your baby hair at the front if they aren’t obviously visible.
  3. Tap the gel gently with your toothbrush and in a swoosh-like motion, gently apply the gel on the hair.
  4. Brush it until you achieve the desired look.

It’s that easy. All you need is a good styling gel and time to thoroughly work on your edges. If you want it to last the whole day, use a ‘coating’ or find time during the day to refresh the edges.
