If you want to manifest your big day, start by watching Our Perfect Wedding, also popularly known as OPW. It’s one of the most loved African reality shows as it shares other people’s love stories. Throughout the show, viewers follow a bridal pair’s love story; how they met, their relationship growth, the proposal, preparations and the wedding day.

This is one of the African Reality Shows you should watch. It teaches viewers about the law through, solving other people’s problems. Retired judge Olusola Williams and Ebuka Uchendu, a lawyer, tackle issues like domestic wrangles and petty theft. It packs a lot of humour but is also informative. Judging Matters launched in 2020.

A couple of women feature showing their lifestyle in affluent neighbourhoods. Expect a lot of drama, friendships and opulence.

If you have a house helper or you are one, you should be watching Abo Auntie. The show highlights the relationship between the two and finds amicable solutions they face. The show airs on Showmax and has one season.
Idols South Africa
Idols South Africa was a long-standing reality television show. Its first season aired in 2002 and ran for 19 seasons. The show is a singing competition where South Africans from across the country were invited to audition, then narrowed to 100 contestants who went into the theatre. They competed in solo and group rounds until they were down to 16.
The show further narrows down to 10 and every week, viewers vote for their favorites. Contestants with the least votes were sent home each week until the final. The show wrapped up in 2023 and the final winner was Thabo Ndlovu.

The reality show revolves around glamorous Jozi momfluencers sharing the challenges of parenting amidst their busy lives.
