- Yamiche Alcindor
Yamiche Alcindor is an African American journalist who has quickly become one of the most influential journalists in the world. She served as the White House correspondent for the PBS NewsHour and provides political commentary for NBC News and MSNBC. Yamiche received the “Journalist of the Year” award from the National Association of Black Journalists (NABJ) for 2020.
- Donovan X. Ramsey
Donovan X. Ramsey is a journalist and author based in Atlanta who uses his voice on issues of politics, racial identity, and power patterns in America. He has been contributing writer for popular publications such as The Times, GQ, Vice WSJ Magazine, and the Atlantic. Ramsey is a native of Ohio and a graduate of Morehouse College and the Graduate School of Journalism at Columbia University.

- Shar Jossell
Shar Jossell is a recognized journalist, media figure, and author. She specializes in reporting on the arts and entertainment and writes about the intersections of pop culture, gender, politics, and racism. Shar has written for publications such as ESSENCE, Variety, ZORA, and Bold Culture. She also wrote the Cultured Magazine cover story for International Women’s Day in March 2021.
- Lester Holt
Lester Holt is a renowned journalist and news anchor. He hosted the weekend editions of the Nightly News and Today shows before taking the helm as the first African American solo anchor of the NBC Nightly News in 2015. Holt received the 2016 NABJ Journalist of the Year Award and many Emmy Awards, in addition to the 2019 Walter Cronkite Award for Excellence in Journalism.
- Abby Phillip
Abby Phillip is a journalist, the senior political correspondent for CNN, and the anchor of Inside Politics Sunday. Before joining CNN as a White House correspondent, she worked for Politico, ABC, and the Washington Post.
- Karen Attiah
Karen Attiah is an African American writer and editor. The Washington Post’s Global Opinion Editor gained notoriety for her report on Jamal Khashoggi’s murder, and she was named the 2019 NABJ Journalist of the Year in recognition of her efforts. Using her power as a journalist, Karen has been active in the “Black Lives Matter” movement.

- Errin Haines
Errin Haines is an MSNBC contributor and the founder of The 19th, a nonprofit, nonpartisan news organization that covers the intersection of women, politics, and policy. She also serves as Editor for The 19th. Errin was formerly the National Writer on Race and Ethnicity for the Associated Press. She is an accomplished political journalist who focuses on issues of race, gender, and politics. She has also held positions at The Los Angeles Times, The Orlando Sentinel, and The Washington Post.
