The dry season, from May to September, is best for wildlife, making it the best time to visit.

2. Chinzombo – South Luangwa National Park, Zambia

Chinzombo is a six-villa resort on the banks of the Luangwa River in Zambia, ideal for those seeking privacy. It is also an excellent choice for families, given that one of the villas can accommodate up to five people.

The best time to visit is during the dry season, which runs from July to November but is open all year.

3. Londolozi – Sabi Sand Game Reserve, South Africa

Again, Londolozi is one of South Africa’s first private game reserves that attracts thousands of visitors. This lodge has been a pillar of global ecotourism and a proud family-run business for nearly 100 years…

“Londolozi” comes from a Zulu word and means “Protector of All Living Things.” Londolozi, one of the first and best African safari lodges, comes with five separate lodges in its private reserve.

The three Granite Suites are the most opulent, with plunge pools. It has outdoor bathtubs where you can soak while watching the world go by or just a herd of elephants. The best time to visit is from May to September.

It has Moroccan-style tents. Each tent has its own outdoor bathroom and a private plunge pool with views of the Uaso Nyrio River. Its unique vantage point over the river allows guests to observe elephant herds bathing below and other varieties of wildlife.

Nothing surpasses the thrill of a Samburu safari since there is so much to see and do in this thrilling area. Sasaab offers several options for wilderness exploration.

Wildlife viewing is best from June to October and December to March, hence the best time for a visit.

There are four camps on the property: Bush Lodge, Little Bush Camp, Selati Camp, and Earth Lodge. The latter is the most expensive, with a modern design that seeks to blend in with the surroundings. The Amber Suite at Earth Lodge, with its enormous tree-trunk headboard, is a honeymooner’s favourite.

The favourable time to see animals is during the dry season, which lasts from May to September, so plan your trip around that.

7. Chief’s Camp – Okavango Delta, Botswana
